Junior Golf

North Middlesex Golf Club is the perfect place for juniors to learn the game. We offer a fantastic structured juniors course, supported by the Noel Johnston Foundation, which will ensure juniors have all the skills required to progress.

On top of this we also have a healthy and growing junior section for those more established golfers who may or may not have gone through our beginner’s course. We are very proud to have Andrew Beef Johnston as a current member, and former Junior of the club. In recent years we have also had other junior members who have gone through the ranks playing on various mini tours, PGA professional golfers and those who have represented GB&I at amateur level.

For more information please contact our junior organiser Terry Laird [email protected] who will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

FREE Beginners Course

Funded by the Noel Johnston Foundation, this beginner’s course is ideal for those between the ages of 5-17 who are new to the game. In this 5 week course juniors will learn about Set Up, Pitching, Putting, Chipping and Full Swing.

At the end of the course, each junior will be assessed and, upon recommendation, they can progress onto our full membership. Each participant will also receive a Noel Johnston foundation polo shirt on successfully completing the course.

Sessions are held on Saturday mornings at Oak Hill Park and need to be booked in advance (subject to availability).

Full Junior Membership

Price £100. Only £50 for existing member’s children.

Those that have gone through our beginner’s course, or those with a previous golfing background are eligible for Full Junior membership. This gives juniors full use of the clubs practice facilities and restricted access to the course (dependent on ability).

Coaching sessions for Full Junior Members are on Saturday afternoons at the following times:

  • Under 10’s Saturdays between 1pm-2pm
  • 10-17 Saturdays between 2pm – 4pm
There are also sessions on Wednesdays 16.30 – 17.30 during term time only and when light permits.
