Women in Golf
The Women in Golf charter was initiated by England golf under the auspices of the R&A to make golf as diverse and inclusive as possible.
NMGC is proud to offer women and girls, novice as well as experienced golfers, the opportunity to get involved in a club which puts their future at the heart of moving forward. We have women at the centre of the management of the golf club and intend to expand on that involvement on a regular basis.
Last year, we launched our Ladies Academy with Lucy Goddard (our lady Professional), which has been a huge success for novice players. Due to this success we are continuing this programme in 2022/23.
For our existing women members, we have a full calendar of competitions, many mixed competitions where you can join in and meet all the members and also two roll-ups. One is on a Friday Afternoon and the other on a Sunday morning, which you can join and play a 4-Ball with other members.
